@FatQuarterShop Will Help Motivate Me

You guys all know how much I’ve been working on getting my “quilting groove” back. I miss quilting so much! I miss my fabric, the patterns, my sewing machine. I miss it all! Lucky for me, Fat Quarter Shop, on of my favorite online fabric shops, is here to save the day!

They just sent me a box full of beautiful fabric and an awesome pattern. The fabric, a jelly roll & charm pack, is called Chateau Rouge and it is amazing! It’s by French General for Moda Fabrics. I really love the colors and prints. They also sent me a fun pattern called “Strip Off” Jelly Roll Quilt Pattern by G.E. Designs. Here is some eye candy…

Pretty, right? I have to tell you, the more I work with precut fabrics the more I love them. It just makes things so much easier. Plus it’s fun to have a piece of each fabric in the line, especially when you love scrappy quilts as much as I do!

I’m thinking that this fabric and pattern is just what I need to get myself quilting again! I hope to be at my sewing machine very soon. If you are in a funk right now too, or even if you aren’t, head on over to Fat Quarter Shop and browse around. I’m sure you’ll find lots you can’t live without!

Also, I just heard about a new book that will be shipping towards the end of September. It’d called “Simply Fat Quarters” and it is by Its Sew Emma Patterns. It includes 10 different patterns that are all made with fat quarters. The awesome part is that directions are included for 4 different sizes for each pattern! “Simply Fat Quarters” will retail for $19.95 but if you reserve your copy now you’ll save 20% and receive a signed copy!! Pretty great, right?!?

Bye,
Lisa

    I love the Fat Quarter Shop and Kimberly Jolly. If anyone can help you get your quilting groove back, it’s the FQS. :)
