@Accuquilt – Christmas Letdown Sponsor Spotlight

The Christmas Letdown Giveaway Hop is coming very soon! What an awesome opportunity to win lots of great things for Christmas! There are lots of blogs participating so you’ll want to be sure to come back between December 26 – December 30 and enter as many as possible.

I’m very, very excited to tell you that Accuquilt is our sponsor for this event!! If you are a quilter you probably know them.  Actually, if you’ve been reading my blog very long you probably know about them. I’ve written quite a few posts about their awesome products.  I love their Cutters because they make the chore of cutting out fabric so much easier and  more precise.

Today, though, I want to introduce you to the newest member of my quilting family….the Go! Baby Fabric Cutter! From their website, “The AccuQuilt GO! Baby Fabric Cutter is a fast, precise, affordable fabric cutter that allows quilters and fabric crafters to cut fabric as much as 90% faster than scissors or rotary cutting.”  I also received some awesome dies to use with my new, and adorable, cutter.  I chose the Go! Tumbler 3 1/2″, the Go! Heart – 2″, 3″, 4″, and the Go! Strip Cutter – 2 1/2″. Here is a picture of everything I received…

Pretty awesome right! So, do you want to know what I think of my new cutter? I absolutely love it!! I own the larger Go! Cutter as well so I’m familiar with the concept behind the machines. They honestly do make cutting so much quicker and easier. Not to mention more precise. I love the smaller size of the Go! Baby though. It’s much easier to move around & I like the way there is a handle on top even when it’s open and ready for cutting.

I also really love the dies I picked out!  I’ve been wanting a strip die for quite some time and figured the 2 1/2 inch size was the best choice.  I can use it for binding as well as all the patterns out there.  With the popularity of Jelly Rolls there is an abundance of 2 1/2″ strip patterns.  The hearts are so cute too.  I can’t wait to make a romantic, cuddly quilt for our room with these hearts as appliques. And finally, the tumbler is what I’m probably the most excited about.  I, like most of you, have a huge stash and am always looking for interesting scrap quilt patterns.  The tumbler die is perfect because it’ll create a unique quilt each time.

Be sure to visit Accuquilt, as well as their Facebook and Twitter pages! And guess what….for our Christmas Letdown Giveaway Hop Accuquilt is offering the winner a Go! Baby Fabric Cutter and 3 dies of your choice!!! Pretty exciting, right?!  Remember to come back starting December 26 for your chance to win!

Bye,
Lisa
